Our Trip options

The North Fork of the Yuba river provides season long fishing opportunities. Our trips can be for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced adventurer. All you have to do is show up! We are not booking trips for the remainder of 2024. Use these pages as a resource, get out there, keep em wet, and enjoy the beauty of the North Fork Yuba.

ABOUT

Fly Fishing on the North Fork Yuba River

Each of our trips is an adventure.  You will learn as we explore.  We will meet, get oriented, and move to the water.

We will provide you with an advanced fly rod, fly reel, line, tippet, and flies.  Since sharing shoes and pants with strangers is gross, you’ll need to bring your own wading gear.  In the warmer months, getting wet is the best option.  When hen wet wading, you’ll need some boots or shoes with socks that can get wet while protecting your feet.

Each guest (that is over 15 years old) will need to have a current California fishing license with them.  The guide  can not legally take a guest fishing without a valid DFW license.  Single day or annual DFW licenses can be purchased at many sporting goods stores or online here.

The Word

“Martin was great. We took a day off of riding and went fishing. We were always curious about fly fishing but were not sure where to start. I think that we took years off of the learning curve.”
